Introducing Our Coffee Tables: The Same Artistry, a Smaller Commitment
Share
Every piece we’ve written about so far has been a dining table — the true centerpiece of a room. But not every space calls for that scale of commitment, and not every client is ready to furnish an entire dining room to bring a piece of Leonardo Gravina craftsmanship into their home. That’s exactly the gap our coffee table line fills: the same hand-poured artistry and bespoke design process, at a scale that fits a living room, a lounge area, or a smaller space entirely.
A Statement Piece That Doesn’t Take Over the Room
A dining table has to serve a large group and anchor an entire room. A coffee table has a different job — it sits closer to eye level, gets seen up close, and often becomes the piece guests actually reach out and touch. That makes material and finish choices even more noticeable at this scale, which is part of why we treat coffee table commissions with exactly the same care as our large dining pieces.
The Base Is Yours to Design Too
With a coffee table, the base gets seen up close in a way a dining table’s legs rarely do — so it’s worth just as much design attention as the tabletop itself. That’s why the legs are made entirely to your preference, just like every other part of the piece: from the shape and material to how the base relates visually to the tabletop above it. During your consultation, we’ll talk through the options that suit your space and the effect you’re after.
Why a Coffee Table Makes a Great Starting Point
For clients who love the idea of a bespoke Leonardo Gravina piece but aren’t ready to commit to a full dining table, a coffee table is often the natural first step. It’s a smaller investment, a smaller footprint, and still fully customizable in color, shape, and concept — the same design process as any of our larger pieces, just scaled to fit a different part of the home.
It also pairs naturally with any of our existing collections. A marble-effect coffee table can echo a marble-effect dining table elsewhere in the home, or stand entirely on its own as a first piece.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the legs be designed to my own preference?
Yes — the base is made entirely to your preference, whether that’s a particular shape, material, or how it relates visually to the tabletop. We’ll discuss options during your consultation.
Can I match a coffee table to an existing dining table design?
Yes — many clients commission a coffee table to complement a dining piece they already own, using the same color palette or concept.
How large can a custom coffee table be?
Size is fully customizable to your space, from a compact side-table scale up to a larger lounge centerpiece.
Is a coffee table a good starting point if I’m new to commissioning a bespoke piece?
Very much so — it’s a smaller commitment that still gives you the full custom design experience, and many clients go on to commission a larger piece afterward.
