A True 3D Effect, Not a Printed Pattern

What sets a genuine Galaxy table apart from imitation resin furniture is depth. Because the tabletop is built up in multiple physical layers of hand-poured resin, each containing its own pigments, metallic particles, and light-catching materials, the finished piece has real three-dimensional depth — not a flat image sealed under a layer of clear coating. Tilt the table under different light and the “stars” and color clouds appear to shift and move, because you are genuinely looking through several layers of cured resin rather than at a printed surface.

What Goes Into the Resin

Every Galaxy table is 100% cast epoxy resin — no wood core, no plywood base, no shortcuts. The cosmic effect itself is built from a combination of materials layered by hand:

• Mother of pearl — adds a soft, shifting iridescence that mimics the shimmer of distant starlight

• Gold flakes — scattered through the resin for warm, metallic highlights that catch the light at different angles

• Glitter — fine, light-reactive particles that create the dense “starfield” sparkle across the surface

• Gemstones — genuine stone elements can be embedded as focal points, echoing the approach we use in our gemstone inlay furniture

• Unique layering techniques — proprietary pouring and manipulation methods developed specifically to create galaxy-style swirls, nebula clouds, and depth, rather than a generic marbled pattern

Gold Leaf Gilded Table Legs

The base is treated with the same level of craftsmanship as the top. Table legs are hand-gilded in gold leaf, echoing the technique used on our flagship Amauri table. This isn’t a painted-on gold finish — it’s a gilding process applied by hand, giving the legs a warm, luxurious depth that complements the cosmic tabletop rather than competing with it.
